And the wool for these baby mattresses comes from sheep organically reared in Wales.  As with all of our other natural mattresses, the sturdy core of coir (coconut fibre) is wrapped with natural latex and then wrapped with a deep layer of wool, and the baby mattress finished with an unbleached cotton cover. The combination of wool and cotton means that no fireproofing chemicals have been used in the production process for these natural organic baby mattresses. Just pure, clean, organic materials. The wool acts as a natural fire retardent. *All Abaca organic materials are produced using materials created by traditional farming methods avoiding the use of highly toxic fertilisers, pesticides, herbicides and fungicides. Available in the following sizes, 140 x 70cm, 120 x 60cm. 3) Standard Natural Mattresses These natural breathable baby cot, cotbed and moses basket mattresses have coconut coir fibre inners, covered with a thin layer of natural latex to make it moisture resistant, and have an unbleached cotton outer, which is removable for machine washing.  Available in the following sizes, 140 x 70cm, 120 x 60cm and 74 x 28cm (Moses basket). 4) Standard Natural Sprung Mattresses These natural breathable baby mattresses have coconut coir fibre inners, covered with a thin layer of natural latex to make it moisture resistant, and have an unbleached cotton outer, which is removable for machine washing. With a deluxe coil spring unit in the core of the mattress to provide the best back, neck and head support. Depth of mattress is approx 10cm. Available in the following sizes, 140 x 70cm, 120 x 60cm. 5) Natural Latex Core Mattresses These natural breathable baby mattresses have coconut coir fibre inners and have an unbleached cotton outer. This particular mattress has a thick springy laxex core, sandwiched between layers of organic coir for extra support and tufted in dustmite resistant lambswool. Our latex is completely natural, tapped straight from the rubber tree. Latex is both non-allergenic and anti-microbial soif you have any allergy concerns, this is the mattress for your child.
